There are a number of ways you may choose to work with me that are available to purchase or book through my website. The terms and conditions in this document apply to all of my services and products unless alternative terms are explicitly stated.

I offer:

  • One-on-one naturopathic consultations: I take a thorough case history to get an understanding of your current health status, before then working with you to develop a treatment plan to best support you in restoring, maintaining, and optimising your health and wellbeing. Consultations may be online or in person.

  • One-on-one Emotion Release Technique (ERT) consultations: I work with you using ERT to process underlying emotions impacting your health and wellbeing. Consultations may be online or in person.

  • Group ERT sessions and programs: These sessions are held online throughout the year and include but are not limited to the programs Life Beyond Perfectionism, Resolution Revival, and Calm Over Chaos. Dates for new intakes will be announced periodically. See this page for up to date Group ERT Program information.

  • Downloadable electronic resources (i.e. e-books, pdf handouts and guides): I write and share a range of health and wellness resources which you may download for your own personal use.

  • Online articles and posts: I write a combination of short posts and longer form articles relating to health and wellness, sharing content in an integrated way across my website and social media platforms.

  • Podcast episodes as audio or written transcripts: I release podcast episodes for The Revitalising Health Podcast on a fortnightly basis (and sometimes less frequently), and endeavour to develop written transcripts of these recorded conversations which I intend to include on my website.

 

My intentions in offering these services and products are listed below:

  • One-on-one health consultations (naturopathy and ERT): to work with you individually so that we can work together to address your unique requirements and work towards achieving your health goals.

  • Group ERT Programs and Sessions: to work with you in a group context to support your mental and emotional wellbeing via the use of ERT.

  • Downloadable electronic resources (i.e. e-books, pdf handouts and guides): to provide health and wellness information in a concise, easy to understand format which you may include as a personal reference among your own collection of health information tools and resources.

  • Online articles and posts: to provide an easily accessible space to share general health-related information.

  • Podcast episodes as audio or written transcripts: to share insights into topics relating to environmental and personal health in a conversational context. 

 

MY QUALIFICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITY

Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) and am a full member of the Australian Naturopathic Practitioners Association (ANPA; member number 21/0888). Certified Emotion Release Technique (ERT) Practitioner.

In offering the services and products listed on this website, I understand I have a responsibility to keep my skills and expertise up to date with continuing professional development, researching the latest developments in my field, taking reasonable care and due diligence, remaining within my scope of practice, and committing to best practice.

Naturopaths often work together with various health professionals (such as general practitioners, physiotherapists, psychologists, acupuncturists, osteopaths, and so on), so if I think you may benefit from seeking care from another practitioner for a particular issue which I may not be able to help you with, I may provide a referral to an appropriate practitioner.

Online consultations are available, and it is advised that the initial consultation takes place in person. If a face-to-face initial consultation is not possible for whatever reason, it is advised that you contact me directly to discuss your options further and so that I can determine the safest course of action for you according to best practice.

PAYMENT TERMS

​

Payment amount and method will differ according to each individual product or service. I am currently accepting payments at the time of booking online using Stripe (see their website for their terms of use and privacy policy: https://stripe.com/en-au/privacy), or in some cases via direct bank transfer. I will not record or store your account details.

​

Fees for consultations are to be paid prior to the consultation at the time of booking, unless alternative arrangements have been made with me and agreed on.  

​

For paid e-resources, courses, or other paid products offered, payment will be taken prior to delivery of the product. For example, once payment has been made to download an e-book, or to view an on-demand course, the product will be made available once the payment has cleared.

​

Payment plans may be available on a case-by-case basis for certain individuals, however whether a payment plan is granted will depend on the individual circumstances. Please contact me directly to enquire about payment plans.

DELIVERY & SHIPPING

DELIVERY

​

One-on-one consultations may be in person or online. In person consultations will take place at Liebe Wellness, 258 Maribyrnong Road, Moonee Ponds, Victoria, Australia. Online consultations will take place via Practice Better or Zoom. Please visit the Practice Better website to read their terms of service and privacy policy. Please visit the Zoom website to read their terms of use and privacy statement.

Prior to your initial consultation, you will be sent a screening questionnaire / intake form which you will need to fill out and send back to me before your appointment. It is important that you do this, as the information you provide will determine whether I decide to proceed with the consultation. If, for your safety, I do not deem it appropriate to proceed with a consultation, I will contact you to discuss this with you and to recommend relevant referrals if appropriate.

​

In person consultations: Please arrive to the clinic at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment start time. There is free 2-hour parking at the rear of the clinic accessible via Orford Street or Scotia Street. 

​

Online consultations (Practice Better): Prior to the consultation, you will receive an email from Practice Better outlining what you need to do to access the online consultation portal. For the best online experience, I recommend using Practice Better on a desktop computer rather than a phone or tablet. Ensure your internet signal is strong; consider connection via Ethernet cable if this is an option for you. To maximise bandwidth of internet connection while using Practice Better, close down all other programs you are not using.

 

Online consultations (Zoom): Prior to the consultation, I will send you a reminder email with a link to the Zoom meeting. You will be prompted to download and install Zoom when you click a join a meeting link or you can download the Zoom app here:  https://zoom.us/download. All meetings are in Melbourne time. For the best Zoom experience, I recommend using Zoom on a desktop computer rather than a phone or tablet. Ensure your internet signal is strong; consider connection via Ethernet cable if this is an option for you. To maximise bandwidth of internet connection while using Zoom, close down all other programs you are not using.

SHIPPING

​

Any prescribed products will be arranged to be delivered to you via the patient ordering systems provided by one or more of the following providers: Ariya Health, Vital.ly, Oborne Health Supplies, or Integria Healthcare. As each of these providers use different couriers, the estimated delivery times for goods dispensed by them will vary from order to order. Please be mindful that unforeseen shipping delays may occur at any time. It is best to contact the relevant provider directly if you have any queries about your delivery.

APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICY

​

If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, please advise me at least 24 hours before the appointment, so that we can cancel or reschedule the appointment. I respect your time and effort to attend an appointment, so please respect mine too.

​

If you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment without any prior notice, a cancellation fee will be applied amounting to 50% of the consultation fee. To avoid this, please advise me at least 24 hours prior to your appointment if you cannot attend your scheduled appointment.

​

I am human and understand that sometimes unforeseeable circumstances arise which may mean we cannot commit to attending a scheduled appointment. In cases such as these I may choose to exercise discretion to depart from my usual application of a cancellation charge, however these situations will be context dependent.

 

REFUND POLICY & CONSUMER GUARANTEES 

​

In regard to naturopathic or ERT consultations, once the service is provided, you cannot receive a refund. This is why I strongly encourage you to ask any questions and gain any clarifications about the service by booking a Free Discovery Call before booking in for an appointment. If you change your mind about working with me in the future, you will not receive any refund after the service has been provided, however you can decide to reschedule or cancel an appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled time, in line with the Appointment Cancellation Policy above.

​

In regard to ERT, naturopathy, or combination packages, when you purchase the package you agree to use the sessions included in the package within the required time frame before the designated expiry date. You also agree that upon purchase of the package, you cannot receive a refund once you have decided to invest in the package. Again, if you are unsure of whether a package is the right option for you, I strongly encourage you to get in touch with me first so we can discuss any queries or concerns you have before making a purchase.

​

If you feel that there is any problem with any of the services or products I provide, please let me know as soon as possible. I am keen to understand what has gone wrong if you are unhappy so that I can address your concerns and try to find a mutually acceptable solution.

​

I take my obligations under Australian Consumer Law seriously and will do my best to address any issues that arise. However, even if there is a major problem, my liability is strictly limited to:

  • replacing the goods or providing the services again; or

  • if I am unable to do so within a reasonable time, paying the cost of having the relevant goods or services supplied to you again.

 

RESPECTFUL COMMUNICATION

I reserve the right to delete any comments on my website or social media accounts which are rude, offensive or which I deem to be unacceptable. If you would not say it to someone in person, do not put it on the internet! Please be polite and communicate mindfully.

​

Please note that any podcast guests, affiliates, collaborators, or other third parties involved in content I share on my website are sharing their own opinions, which may not necessarily reflect my own.

 

DISPUTE RESOLUTION & JURISDICTION

​

i) If you have any concerns, issues or complaints arising out of your use of this website, my products or services, or these terms and conditions, you agree to communicate with me with the intention of making a genuine effort to seek a win/win solution, and trying to resolve the dispute through negotiation and discussion.

​

ii) You are encouraged to contact me via email so that we can attempt to seek a solution.

 

iii) All information exchanged during this negotiation process or any subsequent dispute resolution process, shall be regarded as “without prejudice” communications for the purpose of settlement negotiations and shall be treated as confidential by everyone involved and their representatives, unless otherwise required by law. However, evidence that is independently admissible or discoverable shall not be rendered inadmissible or non-discoverable by virtue of its use during the dispute resolution process.

​

iv) If we are unable to resolve a dispute by negotiation and discussion within 14 days, we agree to proceed to mediation with the assistance of an independent accredited mediator, seeking online dispute resolution or mediation by telephone if we are not both in Victoria, Australia.

​

v) The mediator is to be appointed by agreement between us or, failing agreement within 21 days of the negotiation period ending, the person initiating the dispute will seek the appointment of a dispute resolution professional by the President of the Law Society of Victoria or similar neutral authority.

​

vi) We agree to share all the costs of mediation equally between us.

 

vii) We agree that neither of us will commence legal action until, in the opinion of the independent mediator, the potential for negotiation and mediation have been exhausted.

​

viii) Everyone involved in the dispute agrees that they will not publicly or privately disparage any other party or anyone associated with them, and will act in good faith to refrain from any conduct or communication which might reasonably be expected to interfere with any other party’s business or personal interests.

 

ix) This agreement is subject to the governing law of Victoria. Regardless of where you live in the world, you irrevocably agree that if the dispute resolution processes fail, the courts of Victoria, and the Commonwealth of Australia, will have exclusive jurisdiction.

 

x) If we are unable to resolve a dispute by negotiation and discussion, you may access the complaints procedure offered by The ANPA here: https://anpa.asn.au/complaints/

  • anyone you agree for me to correspond with while working with me in a professional capacity, including other practitioners, functional testing companies, product distribution companies who dispense prescribed remedies;

  • with third parties for the purpose of collecting and processing data such as Facebook or Google Analytics, who may store data outside of Australia;

  • if and when the need arises to prevent serious threat to health, safety, or life of yourself or the public;

  • with any emergency contacts or care providers in the event you cannot act on your own behalf due to serious illness

I take great care to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.

I manage risks to your personal information by:

  • Ensuring that only I have access to personal and sensitive information

  • Storing any hard copy files in secure receptacles

  • Storing digital files within password protected storage on hard disk and / or cloud storage. Please be aware I do use cloud storage via the use of software such as Practice Better. Any companies I use to store information on the cloud are subject to encryption and protection policies which you may find and read on their websites:

ACCESS TO INFORMATION

If at any time you wish to correct or update your personal information, please contact me so I can do this for you. Unless I am obliged to a confidentiality agreement or some other restriction on granting access to the information which permits me to refuse you access under the Privacy Act, and I believe there is a valid reason for doing this, I will endeavour to make your information available to you within thirty days.

COMPLAINTS

If a breach of this Privacy Policy occurs, or if you wish to a request any changes to your personal information, please email me at gabby@revitalisinghealth.com.au  and I will endeavour to respond within forty-eight hours.

If I decide I need to make any changes to this Privacy Policy, I will include the revised policy on my website.
